Our Football Unit

Today we are working on our football unit. Every one has a group. There were stations and everyone would switch.  Here are examples: pass and catch, Football 500, and  kick, pass, punt. We're having a lot of fun with this unit and good sportsmanship.

Learning About Trees

We had real wood blocks.  We were learning about their insides.  We had to write the names of the parts of the wood on a paper in our notebooks, for learning the insides. Then we were done.

First Day Back

I loved spending the day with my new third grade class. They are wonderful kids! Most of the day was spent reviewing rules and routines in the building and becoming familiar with some of our class routines.  The kids had lots of opportunities to interact with one another, especially when we did a "Find Someone Who..." scavenger hunt.
